In maths, we have been working hard on understanding sharing into equal groups and doubling, even beginning to use larger numbers. The children have shown great determination and confidence as they tackled these new concepts, and it has been lovely to see their progress.
The children have also continued their learning about the solar system, where they were especially inspired by learning about Yuri Gagarin and his incredible achievements. We discussed how his determination and bravery helped him make history, and how the children can aim high in their own futures too.
Overall, the children have been incredibly patient, kind, and enthusiastic throughout the week, which has made for a very positive learning environment.
